In this session, speakers will discuss strategies that will help promote best practices at your facility and across a healthcare system. Topics included are policy creation, establishing consensus, and intertwining evidenced based practice from the bottom up. They will address creating vascular access teams using different models based on each facilities assessed needs while promoting standardization. In addition, they will offer insight on how to influence decision makers to approve your increasing staffing needs. Finally, they will describe ideas towards creating a healthy work environment.
