Mary Summer, BSN,RN CRNI, VA-BC (she/her/hers)

Mary has been a nurse for 25 years all of which have been in oncology nursing, and home infusion therapy, and currently works as a board-certified vascular access specialist at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center on a dedicated vascular access team. Mary has a passion for continuing education and uses her advanced IV skills and vascular access knowledge to help onboard new grads, teach didactic and hands-on IV skills, and train new VAT RNs in all vascular access-related skills including PICC placement.
Mary also sits on committees dedicated to reviewing, updating, and implementing new policies and procedures related to vascular access.
