Michael Leoncio is a critical care physician in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Nicklaus Children's Hospital located in Miami, Florida. He is the Associate Director of the Pediatric Critical Care fellowship program where, among other training duties, he trains pediatric fellows in the placement of vascular access devices, including PICC lines. Further, he is the medical director of the Vascular Access Team. His medical interests are first pass vascular access success rates and infection prevention.
