Janet Boyce has been a nurse for 35 years, and involved in vascular access dince 2008. She is currently a vascular access specialist at Stanford Hospital & Clinics placing PICC lines, mid lines and problem-solving catheter related issues. She is a member of both INS snd AVA. She has both her CRNI snd her VA-BC certifications. Janet has worked at several large teaching hospitals in 3 different states for both IV and PICC teams. Prior to joining the vascular access specialty, moving from Med-Surg in to the ICU settings both as a hospital employee and as an agency/travel nurse owning her own temporary staffing agency.
