Lori Kaczmarek, MSN, RN, VA-BC™ (she/her/hers)

Lori is a vascular access specialist and Director of Clinical Education for Adhezion Biomedical. Before this, she managed VAT teams and placed vascular access devices across multiple Midwest states for acute care hospitals, long-term care, and sub-acute care facilities. Lori is the 2020 President of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA) board of directors and past Editor of the Journal for the Association for Vascular Access (JAVA). She served terms as secretary and director-at-large on the AVA board and is a past president of the Association for Vascular Access Foundation (AVAF) board. She returns to the AVA board as Secretary for 2024. Lori is a practice reviewer for the 2021 and forthcoming 2024 INS standards of practice (SOP). She holds a master’s degree in nursing with a focus on Health Care Informatics. She is a frequent speaker on using tissue adhesive, SOP, and data collection and management.
