Melinda Wright RN, BSN, VA-BC, a nurse of 20 years, worked in cardiac, neuro, and surgical ICUs for 15 years before joining the vascular access specialty. She is a member of her local Bay Area Vascular Access Network chapter and also teaches USGPIV insertion classes where she works at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. She assisted with the inagural AVA pre-conference USGPIV insertion class, and is thrilled to be back in person!
