Gail Egan is a nurse practitioner in Interventional Radiology at both Stanford Health Care and Sutter Medical Group in California. She has been a clinical leader in advancing vascular access with an emphasis on imaging to place devices and manage complications. She has been the lead and co investigator on a number of clinical trials in interventional radiology. Gail is the former chair of the Nurse Practitioner/PHysician. Assistant Section for the Society of Interventional Radiology. She is the 2008 recipient of the Suzanne LaVere Herbst Award for Excellent in Vascular Access Practice, the 2022 Advanced Practice Provider aof the Year at Stanford Health Care and the 2022 National Advanced Practice Provider of the Year. Gail was inducted as a Fellow in the Society of Interventional Radiology in 2021.
