Since 1993 Matt Gibson has worked in an area of nursing where vascular access was a primary and essential skill. Emergency department, ICU/telemetry, house supervisor, home infusion and long-term care vascular access team. In 2000, he realized his passion for vascular access and decided to seek out opportunities. Over the last decade Matt has been an active member with INS (National), Kentuckiana Chapter of INS, , and the Association for Vascular Access (AVA).
Currently Matt works with multiple organizations as a vascular access consultant and speaker for various organizations. Matt is certified registered nurse infusion, vascular access board certified and certified PICC ultrasound user. Matt is the Chief Executive Officer for Vascular Access Consulting, LLC as well as the current President and founder of the Kentucky Indiana Vascular Access Network, and presidential advisor for Michigan Association of Vascular Access Network.
