Matthew Clemens RN, BSN, VA-BC: Registered Nurse and Vascular Access Specialist. Matthew has provided care across numerous medical settings and countries. Prior to his vascular access focus, his early focus was in Emergency Medicine serving in the United States Army both stateside and in Afghanistan. During these early years he learned the importance of vascular access in providing optimal care for all patients. Following his military service, Matthew continued his Emergency Medicine path until he found his true calling on the Vascular Access Team at The University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinicals in Madison, Wisconsin. After spending multiple years specializing in vascular access, Matthew joined the medical device industry as an educator and sales representative, combining his love of medicine, teaching, and business. In his spare time, Matthew enjoying spending time with his three children at their various sporting activities, exercise, hiking, and quality time with his dogs.
