Suzanne Williard, BSN, RN, VA-BC

Suzy Williard has been a registered nurse at Nationwide Children's Hospital for 21 years. Suzy started her nursing career working in infectious disease in 2002. Having the desire to specialize her skill set and knowlege base, Suzy joined Vascular Access Team in 2007. She is trained in placement of neonatal PICCs, Midlines, and PIVs utilizing ultrasound guidance and transillumination. Suzy is active in hospital education by orienting new team members into their role. She is active in evidence based practice with the creation and implementation of the hospitals midline database and tracking protocols. Over the years she has helped provide guidance to care teams regarding vascular access options to help acheive best outcomes.
