Theresa Stevenson is one the founding members of the Vascular Access Team at Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Akron Children's Hospital is a 290-bed pediatric teaching hospital that includes a 70 bed NICU and an all ages Burn Unit. She is the most senior member of a 6-person team that serves patients in all areas of the hospital, and encompassing ALL age groups and both inpatints and outpatients. She brings 35 years of Pediatric experience , 23 of which are in Vascular Access. Theesa strives to make continued improvements in all aspects of Vascular Access Care based on the latest Evidence Based Practice available to provide the right Vascular Access Device , at the right time, with the fewest number of attempts.
