Brenda Swendra-Henry is passionate about vascular access nursing, continually seeking opportuites to incorporate evidence into practice. Brenda has been a nurse for over 25 years, with background in critical care, interventional radiology, nursing professional development and vascular access. She is currently the leader of the vascular access specialist team and chair of the CLABSI committee at CentraCare Health-St. Cloud Hospital. Brenda is considered the content expert within this health system, where she has responsibility for vascular access-related policies, procedures and education. Recently, Brenda has participated in VACC and ANPD as an item writer.
