Sean Lau vascular access specialist and a Patient Care Manager at Stanford Health Care, where he leads the Vascular Access Services Team. Prior to becoming a nurse, Sean has held leadership roles in the SemiConductor manufacturing industry and is well versed in many facets of TQM. He lectures at the local, regional, national and international venues on topics related to CLABSI prevention, VAD standards and guidelines, and ultrasound guided PIV insertion.
Sean has bachelor’s degrees in nursing and physiology, is vascular access board certified, and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
