Dr. Nancy Moureau is an internationally recognized speaker, researcher, and expert in the field of vascular access practice, as well as an active clinician performing UGPIV insertions. A nurse for more than 40 years, recipient of the Herbst Award for Lifetime Achievement, a researcher, and author, Nancy is the owner and CEO of PICC Excellence, an online education provider. A supporter of vascular access training and competency assessment, Nancy, and her team at PICC Excellence, have established the only PICC Certification processes for adult and neonatal PICCs, Certified PICC Ultrasound Inserter and Certified Neonatal PICC Inserter, where those who meet qualifications gain the credentials CPUI or CNPI.
