Chris Cavanaugh, a Registered Nurse for more than 25 years, has gained experience in Critical Care, Radiology, homecare, long-term care, and industry. Additionally, she has done legal nurse consulting and provided vascular access services and education as an entrepreneur. The focus of her career has been vascular access and infusion therapy. She has served on local and national Boards of Directors for the Association for Radiologic and Imaging Nursing, the Association of Vascular Access and it’s Foundation, and the Infusion Nurses Society. She has presented at local and national meetings of all three organizations. She has published articles in the Journal of Radiology Nursing and IQ, the AVA Newsletter. This presentation is based on her Master's Degree capstone project.
