Tara Graham DNP, RN, CNL, CCRN, CPN is the Programmatic Nurse Specialist for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She received her baccalaureate degree (BSN) from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2012, her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) role from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Carlow University in May of 2020. She holds certifications as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN). She also serves as adjunct faculty for the graduate nursing program at Wilkes University and undergraduate programs at Robert Morris University and Carlow University. Her research and quality improvement interests are primarily related to the prevention of healthcare acquired infections and conditions for cardiac intensive care patients, especially those pertaining to vascular access.
