With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Dr Stephanie Pitts is the Senior Director of Strategy at B. Braun Medical Inc. (USA), focused on improving clinical outcomes with programs and innovation. Dr. Pitts has spent much of her career in Pediatrics and Vascular Access. She developed the pediatric vascular access program at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida in 2008. She has multiple publications and position papers focused on vascular access. She was honored in 2017 with the Association of Vascular Access ‘Janet Pettit Scholar Award’ recognizing her research and dedication in advancing pediatric vascular access. Stephanie was honored as the 2022 Suzanne Herbst Award, recognizing the highest excellence in vascular access aby the Association for Vascular Access. Stephanie is a graduate of the MGH Institute of Health Professions Doctorate of Nursing Practice program and her research was focused on pediatric PIVCs.
