In this session you will learn how a competency-based orientation model distinguishes luck from skill as we break down the critical elements of achieving a successful IV insertion. Using this method of orientation, strengthened knowledge and skill early as preceptors were empowered to articulate areas for improvement. We will explore the value of competency-based education as a tool to make orientation easy!
