This session will start with a few complex scenarios that can be addressed in a variety of ways. The panel of experts will address the problem from their unique perspective and offer advice for future access conundrums. Vascular access is chocked full of nuances. Some of these are learned via experience, some thru the sheer luck of patient presentation. The panel will offer real-world alternatives for some common and uncommon vascular access occurrences.

List strategies for appropriate device placement in complex patients
Describe risks associated with various devices and specific conditions (CKD, LN removal, ECMO)
Identify 2 new resources for advice to aid in decision making in complex patient situations
