Clinicians face and solve perplexing challenges in vascular access every day. This elite international forum will feature the best and the brightest at the First Annual AVA Foundation International Grand Rounds. Selected participants will be asked to present their clinical cases that demonstrate: unusual clinical presentations and dilemmas, creative solutions, or innovations in practice for patient safety. Attendees will gain clinical pearls that they can apply immediately in practice should they encounter similar challenges.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe at least 1 case presented that illustrates an unusual presentation or clinical dilemma.
  • Describe at least 1 case presented that demonstrated a creative solution or collaboration.
  • Describe at least 1 case presented that highlighted a current patient safety concern and possible prevention or solutions.
